Solo traveler’s delight

The level of comfort and class here was excellent. The breakfast was something else, local ingredients, think eggs benedict on blaa bread, quite filling and tasty!

It wasn't exactly a bargain but I guess that's what you pay for this level of quality.

great staff but room could use updates

The staff at reception were exceptional, especially Fiona and Stacey, who made us feel truly welcomed. Dining was a highlight, the meal was delicious, and the service from Amber, Amber, and Emer was top-notch.

Our family had an unforgettable time exploring the Waterford Greenway, an amazing trail with bridges and a cool tunnel. The hotel itself exceeded our expectations with its beautiful ambiance, and the staff were genuinely friendly and attentive. The breakfast was fantastic, with tasty baked goods and hearty options.

In my kids' opinion, they wished for a bit more variety in the children's menu during dinner.

Great food and super friendly staff!

Just dropped by for lunch during my day in Waterford. The food was really good, but that €9 Chardonnay felt a bit steep! It’s a busy place with lots of locals and tourists, which I kinda liked. The atmosphere was lively, and the staff were super helpful and friendly. So, not sure about the rooms, but the bar food was on point.

During our one-night stay, we loved the charming atmosphere and historic features of the hotel. The room was lovely and comfortable, and we appreciated the great dining options available. The staff were welcoming and helpful throughout our visit. However, we did notice that the water pressure was quite low, which was a bit disappointing.

The Granville Hotel offers a comfortable stay, beautifully located with a fantastic breakfast selection, including a unique whiskey porridge option. However, some rooms face traffic noise, and the TV channels were limited during the visit. Overall, it’s a charming place I would happily return to.

The location along the River Suir offers a stunning view, especially during sunset, making each morning quite special. The breakfast spread features local specialties, with a delightful selection that stands out and caters to diverse tastes.

Room size felt smaller than expected, particularly when sharing with a family, which may impact comfort during extended stays. Traffic noise from street-facing rooms could disrupt sleep quality, so it’s worth considering a quieter room away from the main road. Parking can be a hassle during busy times, leading to some inconvenience when returning to the hotel after exploring.

The Granville's classic elegance and thoughtful decor felt welcoming, like a warm hug from a beloved friend. The lobby and lounge areas were spacious and accessible, making it easy to navigate with my family during our lovely stay.

More accessible seating in dining areas would be appreciated.
